See you soon, then…

My Grace is gone, one more drink and I’ll move on…

If anyone isn’t familiar with Dave Matthews, that is a lyric from his song Grace is Gone.  My beautiful, intelligent, and vivacious friend, Grace, will be departing to go abroad tomorrow.  Last night was her last hurrah with us until she comes back in May.  I will miss her more than anything.  My eating buddy, my fellow nerd, mah numba one.  Safe travels, Gracey.  Love you always.

I got to see Grace for one last time before spring break when I go to visit and I got the chance to hang out with a lot of my good friends that I have been too busy to see so far.  I was far more excited to see my best friend and big brother Alex more than anyone else.  

The one thing I do want to say is that when you love someone, you need to give it your all. 100% if not more.  Someone out there loves you and when you find that person, you will understand how it feels to want to do everything you can for them.  When they don’t reciprocate, it hurts, but you continue to do what you always did.  Give them all you can.  Don’t stand for anything less because you are beautiful, you are loved, you are worth it.  Don’t let anyone let you feel any different.

And as for a certain someone, I have to say: Things happen for a reason and life goes on.  Take everything as it is and don’t let it get to you.  Live life with love, happiness, and laughter.
